I wanted to share with you something my late father-in-law said. "You don't have to feel bad when someone dies. There are people that I'm not sorry they are dead." George passed 2 years ago at 98 and I knew him for 41 years. He was always my buddy, and I enjoyed his dry humor.
That's a great piece of wisdom. I often feel a mixture of emotions about death, and one of those is relief. And, while there should always be time for those hard emotions, death makes way for new things in our lives. It's almost like I'm not talking about a hot tub now.
Funny you should suggest that. I've heard it often, but I don't think my art is really suited to standup. Some of my best jokes are the insider ones that only a specific crowd would understand. I do enjoy performance art though...
Hello, Robin
I wanted to share with you something my late father-in-law said. "You don't have to feel bad when someone dies. There are people that I'm not sorry they are dead." George passed 2 years ago at 98 and I knew him for 41 years. He was always my buddy, and I enjoyed his dry humor.

So says the poet Robert Burns. I enjoyed your story, Robin. Maybe you should think about doing stand up.

Great story to read in the middle of the night while I’m wide awake 😳
I love your transformation of the space. Nice!
Thanks, Chris! Glad I could entertain you.
