I love your poem, Robin. It speaks a truth. I have been disillusioned for about 30+ years now. When I discovered that a lot of what I was taught in school is a whitewashed version of the truth, it really pissed me off. And of course, people like you are not accepted as your true selves. Fortunately, I have educated myself and learned. Now I have a good friend like you that I really appreciate.
